You own a maxi-scooter or motorcycle, and want to ride country roads and share riding philosophy with like-minded people.
Rides are on the first or second Saturday or Sunday each month – 200-250km, with the occasional trip 300km and over – plus shorter midweek "Easy-Rider" runs, and occasional "Moonlight Rides".
For riders male and female, all ages, comfortable with highway speed
limits.
125cc plus can be adequate – 250cc plus will be adequate.
Suitability might depend on the rider, not the scoot or bike size.
Support given to newcomers.
Maxitag was formed in August 2005. "MAXI" stands for maxi-scooter, and "TAG" is an acronym for "Twist-And-Go". However, apart from large-sized automatic scooters, many members ride manual-geared motorcycles. The emphasis has always been on the social aspects of group riding and less on the technicalities of either riding or machinery.
